The recipe for meatballs and mashed potatoes will be to the liking of those who want to amaze their family, but also themselves, with a new taste of ordinary products. And because the preparation process does not require much effort, the balls are worth trying.

INGREDIENT:

For meatballs:

-400 gr of minced pork

-salt and black pepper - to taste.

For potato balls:

-400-500 gr of hot mashed potatoes

-salt and black pepper - to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1.Cut the onion into small pieces and transfer it to the minced meat. Then add the breadcrumbs and egg, season the composition with salt and pepper and mix well.

2. Shape balls slightly larger than a walnut. About 13 meatballs come out of this quantity.

3. In the mashed potatoes, add butter, salt and pepper. Stir, then add the egg and stir again.

4.Cut the cheese into cubes.

5. Shape balls of mashed potatoes, adding a piece of cheese in the middle. We got 12 balls of potatoes.

6. Alternately place the meatballs and potato balls in a form greased with oil.

7. Then grease the surface of the meatballs with oil, for a brown crust.

8. Distribute the garlic cloves evenly, add greens and spices to taste. All you have to do is put the dish in the oven.

Greetings! Today I will propose an interesting culinary menu, potato balls with turmeric and cheese, but first I will write to you how I came to cook it.

One day my little girl asked me very curiously, if I knew what "bubbles" meant, because she had heard her friend ask her grandfather for a dumpling with cheese and dill, a specialty cooked by her grandmother: "Daddy, I want another dumpling!"

That's how I write to you today about my recipe for turmeric and cheese potato dumplings.

I also cooked a simple version of mashed potato dumplings with grated cheese filling, to which I attached the picture below.

For potato balls with turmeric and cheese, more ingredients and more preparation time are needed, but it is much more flavorful, nutritious and tastier than balls made only of cheese-filled potatoes.

Ingredients for potato balls with turmeric and cheese

1 kg of boiled potatoes in shell,

6 - 7 large garlic cloves, grated

2 tablespoons sunflower oil, almond or sesame seeds.

Preparation for turmeric and cheese potato dumplings

Peeled potatoes are allowed to cool slightly, then we can peel them. Put the peeled potatoes in a bowl in which we will add all the other ingredients. Now begin the operation of poultry and kneading until we get a potato dough, and turmeric will beautifully color the composition in shades of deep yellow.

You can add a little more flour, only if the potato dough is too soft.

Put a little breadcrumbs or a little sifted cornstarch in a saucer, because we will be able to pass the balls through them after we give it a round shape. First with a spoon we will take from the composition of the turmeric potato dough and we will form a balls in the middle of which we will put a square of cheese, then we will roll the balls through breadcrumbs or corn.

Potato dough with turmeric and cheese can also be made into elongated shapes, like croquettes, which are excellent.

To bake the potato dumpling with turmeric and cheese we need a pan or a pan greased with oil. It takes 45 minutes to prepare the potato ball with turmeric and cheese (when we have potatoes already cooked).

The potato dumplings with turmeric and cheese is delicious with checkup, tomato sauce flavored with thyme or carrot and celery salads sprinkled with lemon juice.
